Serving Orange County, California

(800) 216-6353

CTI Reprographics Printing and Valueline Reprographic Printing, of Orange County California and metropolitan OC areas,  has been serving the reprographic needs of California architects and engineers for over 23 years, and we are now proud to announce the opening of our newest office located in Milpitas, California.

We are offer a complete line of reprographics services employing the newest, state-of-the-art reprographic equipment, including KIP wide-format high speed copiers, H.P. inkjet technology, scanning and complete bindery services.

We are committed to our motto, "WE EAT DEADLINES FOR BREAKFAST," because we know quality work and on-time deliveries are as important to you as competitive pricing.

The CTI Reprographics team has been delivering the very highest standards of services in large format image setting, scanning and proofing. Our extensive in-house facilities, some of which are listed, have been utilized by printers and publishers for large format proofing, scanning and film output.

Our image setter / scanner is one of the largest available in the area and to our knowledge we have the only very large format proofing systems that help us in delivering the very best in large format proofing services. Finally we have one of the few remaining darkroom cameras still in service, giving us some particularly unique available solutions to all reprographic needs.

Our technical capabilities...

Large Format Film Output
Most File Formats Accepted

Our imagesetter is one of the largest in the country and is regularly used to output film for both litho and screen printers up to B0+ in size. Very large format jobs either monochrome or multi-color for posters or maps can be handled by our reprographics team.

Our large format drum scanner is capable of scanning color film transparencies, monochrome film or reflected copy such as original paintings, drawings or previously printed items, such as maps that are needed in a digital form for reprinting. With the large format drum facility, we can scan items up to A1+ in size and can reduce and enlarge at the scanning stage with high definition retained up to B0+ sizes where required. We have full in house studio facilities to ensure quality control and color correction as standard. The final scan file can be written to CD with proof copies, or output to film as required.

The only very large format analogue cromalin proofing system in the Orange County. We can proof from final films prior to platemaking up to 1066 x 1524mm (60”x 42”) and supply printers contract proofs, including mixing to match special colors, pantone etc.

Our inkjet printer is normally used for one-off proofs of any size up to
1066 x 2000mm +. The high-resolution print is via a Postscript III Harlequin / Compose RIP with ICC color profiling, ensuring that all trapping, overprints, and color are set and that the proof is a good representation of the final printed product. We can also produce multiple prints, offering a very economical way of producing short-run printed work, where the cost of platemaking and printing is prohibitive.

Reprography is the reproduction of graphics through mechanical or electrical means, such as photography or xerography. Reprography is commonly used in catalogs and archives, as well as in the architectural, engineering, and construction industries.

The reprographic industry is a relatively small industry with approximately 3000 firms in the United States. It comprises entrepreneurial businesses serving predominately the large- and wide-format reproduction needs of the architectural, engineering, manufacturing, retail, and advertising industries. Average sales volume is about $1.5 million and average employee counts are 20-25 people.

Large-format reproductions are produced with a variety of technologies dependent, in part, on the application of the final product and quantity needed. Examples of typical reproduction methods include: diazo (blueline), electrostatic (xerographic), photographic, laser, and ink jet.

Reproductions can be made from the same size or smaller/larger hard copy originals. Prints can also be computer generated from CADD (computer aided design and drafting) files or from a growing variety of desktop publishing and design software packages.

In addition to addressing the large-format reproduction needs of their customers, reprographers frequently sell reprographic equipment and consumable supplies. Other business services such as mounting and lamination, quick copying, microfilming, scanning and facility management are also provided.

Typical items produced by reprographers include architectural/engineering blueprints and renderings, indoor and outdoor signage, maps, billboards, backlit displays, trade show graphics, legal and medical exhibits, etc.
